I spent most of my working career in Human Resource Management and Public Relations though music has always been my avocation. To take care of the family and do all the things a good father and husband does, I was a training and employee relations manager for an integrated circuit manufacturer, director of the entertainment division at a university, safety engineer for a steel producer and the administrative manager for a major utility.

Summertime vacations during my college career usually found me working as a wrangler in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There I cooked breakfast for the "dudes" as we liked to call them, took pack trips and trail rides, entertained at the evening ride and scooped up reprocessed hay in the corrals. It was there I also learned one of life's great lessons while attempting to shoe a feisty little buckskin—a swift kick to the shins can knock you out! I can't say I've ever really used that particular bit of information but I definitely remember the experience.
